EXPRESS PROJECT MANAGEMENT METHODOLOGY COURSE (2 Days)

Purpose: Express PMM is a tailored project management method intended for medium and smaller projects or for team leaders within larger projects. It is based upon the internationally recognised PRINCE2™ methodology and is able to be scaled up to full PRINCE2™ if required. The course is designed to:

  • Explain the purpose, scope and value of the Express Project Method
  • Introduce and explain the method's processes, components and techniques
  • Provide the knowledge to enable the Project Manager/ Team Leader to apply the method to a project.

Format & Presentation: This course is delivered over two days and is a blend of instruction through lectures and audio-visual presentations and extensive case study work on real projects by syndicates of participants. It follows the principles of accelerated learning. Participants receive comprehensive course manuals.

Derivation: This course is derived from Rational Management's fully accredited PRINCE2™ Project Management Methodology Course (3 days) however it eliminates some of the detailed elements of PRINCE2™ that may not be relevant to medium and small projects. It therefore does not cover the full curriculum and is not an accredited course. Participants seeking PRINCE2™ qualifications may register for the PRINCE2™ Foundation Revision and Exam (1 day) and later the PRINCE2™ Practitioner Revision and Exam (1 day).
