PRINCE2™ PRACTITIONER REVISION & EXAM (1 Day)

Recommended for: This workshop is intended for participants who have passed the PRINCE2™ Foundation exam and who wish to attempt the PRINCE2™ Practitioner exam.

Availability: This workshop is available on our scheduled public courses and as an in-house course.

Purpose: The workshop is intended to assist the participant to prepare themselves for the PRINCE2™ Practitioner exam, the higher level of an internationally recognised project management qualification.

Composition - The workshop consists of four parts:

• On registering, the participant receives a Practitioner Exam Study Pack the includes detailed exam guidance material, previous exam papers, worked examples and a trial exam.
• In the period (usually several weeks) prior to the exam participants should complete the trial exam questions and email these to Rational Management for feedback.
• On the morning of the exam a 3 hour revision session covers exam technique and likely questions and answers.
• The Practitioner exam is a 3 hour open book written exam based upon the application of PRINCE2™ to a given scenario. There are 3 questions each with up to 3 sub-questions. Each of the 3 questions is worth 50 marks. An overall score of 75 out of a possible 150 is required to pass.

Format & Presentation: This workshop requires extensive study and practise before the exam day. The workshop is delivered over one day and consists of lectures and group discussion. Participants receive an extensive exam study pack. It is essential that the participants have access to the manual "Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2™" during both the preparation and the exam.

Benefits: Successful Practitioner exam candidates receive a certificate from the UK Office of Government Commerce via the APM Group Ltd and are listed on the APM Group website (if they agree) as PRINCE2™ Practitioners.
